Our Partnership with SWACO
- Columbus Micro is currently in a partnership with the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) to provide electronic waste recycling services for residents of Franklin County. Electronic waste will be recycled in compliance with EPA and R2 certified recycling standards. Electronic devices are being discarded at an increasing rate as technology continues to improve. Electronics contain valuable precious metals and by recycling those metals, fewer natural resources will need to be extracted to create new electronic devices. As a result, energy is saved, pollution is reduced and there are fewer greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere.
